After hanging my boots in the rugby world, I went through a one-year post shoulder surgery recovery phase where I made only bad choices concerning food, alcohol, parties. Shortly after, I realised that I must change my lifestyle and I started training using the fitness knowledge I have gained as a professional athlete. I have realised how much I enjoyed training and I saw myself at the beginning of a career in personal training. Training had become an addition and it made me set some personal fitness goals to take part in a fitness competition. In order to become ready for the competition stage, I collaborated with many professional fitness coaches from across the world. After 12 years of training myself, I have reached a point where training is part of my lifestyle and can’t see myself living without it.
